On August 19, the first carbon footprint verification certificate in Fujian Province, issued by domestic and foreign certification bodies and recognized by international clients, was officially awarded at FOEN Aluminum Co., Ltd. Carbon footprint refers to the total carbon emissions generated throughout the entire lifecycle of a product, from raw material acquisition and transportation, through production, product transportation, usage, to end-of-life disposal. Through cross-institutional data comparison, technical verification, and mutual recognition of calculation methodologies, a bilingual (Chinese-English) carbon footprint certificate has been jointly issued, filling the gap in our province for carbon footprint certificates that are "jointly issued by authoritative domestic and foreign institutions and mutually recognized both domestically and internationally." The certificate has now been accepted and recognized by 11 international clients, serving as a "passport" for enterprises to overcome green trade barriers and seize international market opportunities.

This certificate pioneers a "one verification, dual certificates issued simultaneously" model—led by China Quality Mark Certification Group (CQM) for the verification and completed with international technical review by Intertek Group, achieving mutual recognition and collaboration between domestic and foreign institutions.
