On May 18th, the 27th Cross-Straits Fair for Economy and Trade was held in Fuzhou. Co-organized by the People's Government of Fujian Province and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the Cross-Straits Fair for Economy and Trade aims to promote cross-Straits cooperation and strengthen economic and trade exchanges.

  Zhou Zuyi, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, delivered a speech and declared the opening of the event at the opening ceremony. Pan Xianzhang, Deputy Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council, attended and delivered a speech as well. Guo Ningning, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Secretary of the Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee, presided over the ceremony.

  At the opening ceremony, Zhou Zuyi emphasized that cross-Straits exchanges and cooperation are in line with the aspirations of the people and the general trend of development. Fujian will implement the important speech spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection tour in Fujian, resolutely carry out the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, focus on expanding advantageous industries for Fujian-Taiwan cooperation, building platforms for Fujian-Taiwan cooperation, creating an excellent environment for Fujian-Taiwan cooperation, strengthening economic and trade cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan, and promoting peaceful development. Zhou Zuyi sincerely hoped that the vast number of Taiwan compatriots and enterprises would seize the opportunities of the times, share in development opportunities, jointly build a happy homeland, and create a better

future together.

  Mr. Huang Fen, Chairman of our company (FOEN), was invited to participate. Centering around the theme of "Promoting Integration through Cooperation and Seeking Development through Innovation," he shared practical experiences in cross-Straits exchanges and cooperation from perspectives such as technology-driven approaches, green intelligent manufacturing, and mutually beneficial collaboration. He covered aspects ranging from industry-university-research collaboration to talent acquisition, and from technological cooperation to technological innovation. Additionally, he outlined a vision for in-depth cooperation aimed at jointly building resilient industrial chains and empowering business associations on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. He expressed the hope that business associations in Fujian and Taiwan would continue to organize effective and proactive interactions in the future, with the goals of "going global, bringing in resources, and energizing cooperation," so as to stand united and collectively confront the challenges of the global economy.
